She led Earned Wealth’s operations and finance for three years before stepping into her current role, driving growth, innovation, and customer-centric strategies.

As Chief Wealth Officer and a CFA® charterholder, Bill is driven to accelerate wealth creation for doctor clients, by career stage and their unique career arc, using advanced technologies, deep data insights, and evidence-based methodologies. In this role, Bill leads development of Earned's perspective across the seven wealth domains that together most drive financial outcomes for doctors: investing, tax planning, career advisory, insurance, trust and estate, debt management, and cash management.

Frederick (Fred) Duden

Chief Product & Technology Officer

Fred brings extensive leadership experience in financial technology, product management, trading, and digital advisory. Most recently, he was General Manager of the APL division at InvestCloud and previously served as Global Chief Product Officer at Broadridge. Previously at JP Morgan, he held key leadership roles driving digital wealth management. With over a decade at Charles Schwab, he served as President of Schwab Wealth Investment Advisory and led the launch of Schwab Intelligent Portfolios. Fred’s expertise in innovation, strategy, and client experience drives cutting-edge wealth management solutions for growth and long-term success.

John is the Founder and CEO of Earned, bringing over 30 years of leadership experience, including 20+ years in financial services. As CEO of Blucora, he oversaw $80B in AUM, achieving a top 3% stock return. At Charles Schwab, he co-led the Retail Division, built the advisory business, and served as CEO of Schwab Bank. His career also includes leadership roles at Wells Fargo, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Booz-Allen, and more.

Joy Lai

Joy Lai is the Chief Growth Officer at Earned, bringing a proven track record of scaling businesses and driving market expansion. Since joining in August 2023, she has led Earned’s organic growth, strategic partnerships, and inorganic growth initiatives to accelerate the company’s trajectory. Previously, as Chief Marketing and Operating Officer at Kitchen United, Joy spearheaded the company’s expansion from inception to a nationally recognized brand valued at over $400M. Her leadership experience spans Internet Brands, The Wonderful Company, and Bain & Company, where she specialized in scaling businesses, go-to-market strategy, and post-merger integration. Joy holds a BS in Business Administration from UC Berkeley and a Master’s from Stanford University.

Previously, he served as Chief Strategy and Growth Officer at Earned and has extensive board experience, including roles with Arcbest, Feed the Children, and Valyant AI. As President of Blucora, he led the creation of Tax Smart Investing (TSI™) and delivered significant growth. With a history of successful leadership at GameStop and PepsiCo, Mike specializes in innovation, profitable growth, and digital transformation.

Swetha Doppalapudi

Swetha is the Chief of Staff at Earned, overseeing investor relations, operations, and strategy. Previously, she was the Director of eCommerce at ABInBev and a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group where she focused on private equity projects. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's degree from Princeton University. With her diverse expertise in strategy, eCommerce, and private equity, Swetha brings a wealth of experience to Earned.
